The new simple, reliable and effective Anode Eye (patent pending) is an anode wear indicator which allows the boat owner to check the state of the vessel's anodes on a regular basis.

Anode Eye is the only anode wear indicator that enables you to check the condition of your anodes whilst the vessel is afloat without ever leaving your boat!

How It Works:
The Anode Eye is fitted through the hull of the vessel behind a pre-drilled anode.

As the anode erodes, the hole in the back of the anode will eventually become visible from the front of the anode.

This allows ambient light to pass through the Anode Eye window, indicating that the anode has either worn past it’s most efficient state, or has become detached from the hull of the vessel.

Any of these events will place all of the vessel’s expensive underwater equipment at risk of erosion.
It is recommended that remedial action be taken as soon as possible when light is visible through the Anode Eye.
